Statement for intent

  How do you intend to use the four areas of the media theoretical framework to communicate meaning and meet the requirements of your chosen brief? (approx. 400 words) To establish a consistent brand identity of a sophisticated design and style magazine across two front covers and contents pages, I created pieces of media that would specifically target a female cosmopolitan audience. My media texts are constructed for a young adult audience, 16–25-year-olds, of all cultural backgrounds. The class demographic for my magazine will consist of an AB economic background. The magazine will use elements of traditional magazine genre codes and conventions, using a bold masthead, a variety of cover lines and stand-out images. By using a simple and plain  background, viewers are instantly attracted t o the image across the centre of the front cover.  Apart amento  have used minimalism on this front cover to  show the normality of interior design and that often  a simple design   idea for your kitchen or living room can be the most effective.
